Intended audience

Social workers and health professionals who occasionally encounter people bereaved by suicide in the course of their work.

Duration

2 days (12 hours)

Goals

This training presents the different stages of the bereavement process, focuses on the particularities of suicide bereavement and addresses the approaches recommended for adults, adolescents and children.

Content

Grief process in adults;
Characteristics of suicide bereavement;
How to support bereaved adults;
Grieving process in children;
How to support bereaved children.

REGISTRATION

Accredited training by SOFÉDUC*

*At the end of this training, participants who pass the evaluation receive an official certificate awarding them two Continuing Education Units (CEUs) recognized by the professional orders.
